Shower & Restroom Combination
Seldovia is a small bay town reached only by boat or air, and any project here must haul its own beds, water, and washrooms. Combination shower and restroom trailers lead our Seldovia rentals.

Seldovia lies on Cook Inlet waters noted for one of the most severe tidal movements in North America, and the 1964 Good Friday earthquake dropped the surrounding land by six feet, sending tides of up to 32 feet over the boardwalk. When storms or long outages strain a town of 235, crews that respond need combination trailers, sleepers, and kitchens set on high ground.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Seldovia provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: From Russian Post to Boardwalk Town
In 1787 or 1788 a Russian fur trade post named Aleksandrovskaia was established at the site by hunting parties of the Shelikhov-Golikov company, and the original Russian name Seldevoy means Herring Bay. The St. Nicholas Orthodox Church was started in 1820. Dock, utility, and construction contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry near the work.

Renovation: A Waterfront Rebuilt on Higher Ground
After the 1964 earthquake the waterfront was rebuilt using fill from Cap Hill, which was demolished to put the town on higher ground, and only one small portion of the boardwalk remains. Buildings along the new street renovate in stages. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Seldovia keeps a site serving during work.
Emergency Equipment Access in Seldovia
Seldovia has no road link, and units arrive by barge, with crews arriving by boat or airplane. Tides and weather shape delivery planning. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
Boat-Born Visitors
Seldovia was once an important first stop for ships between Seward, Kodiak, and other points outside Cook Inlet, and visitors still arrive by water. Hosts rent restroom trailers, showers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Seldovia.
Seldovia Weather and Site Planning
Cook Inlet tides are among the strongest in North America. Pads need to sit well above the high-water mark and be braced against wind. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Seldovia setup for crews can share water and wastewater.
Rental Options and Prices for Seldovia
A 13ft shower and restroom combination with three stalls starts at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days, a 22ft combination with six stalls at an estimated $4,995, and a 30ft combination with eight stalls at an estimated $3,995. Combinations list 120V/240V service at 200 amps, which we confirm before delivery. Add laundry, sleepers, and a kitchen for Seldovia crews and events.
What Seldovia Projects Need, Season by Season
Summer is the boat and construction season. Fall brings storm tides. Winter is quiet and stormy. Spring is the barge season for supplies.
Who Rents Trailers in Seldovia
Dock and utility contractors rent combos, sleepers, and laundry. Event hosts rent restrooms and refrigeration. Agencies rent basecamps. Caterers rent kitchens.
Planning a Trailer Site in Seldovia
Send us the address, dates, crew size, and a photo of the pad. For a combination trailer we confirm water, a drain or holding plan, power, a pad above the tide line, and the barge slot before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Alaska on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Seldovia
Short jobs and seasonal camps are priced differently from year-long leases. For Seldovia, a 20ft accommodation unit is an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days, and the same unit is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 for three months or more. Because the quote lists each unit separately, you can add a shower, laundry, or kitchen later without re-pricing the rest of the camp.
Permits and Site Considerations in Seldovia
Temporary trailers in Seldovia may need review by the city or Kenai Peninsula Borough. Waterfront and tidelands involve the managing owner, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Seldovia
Before a truck leaves for Seldovia, we walk through the boat and air links to Seldovia. Setup is about an hour for most units, about five hours for kitchens and dishwashing trailers, a few minutes for stairs, and four to six hours for ramps. Everything on a Kenai Peninsula Borough job, from delivery to pickup, goes on a single schedule. One local detail: tides and weather can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Seldovia
Utilities decide what can go where in Seldovia. Our shower containers list 120V/240V at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. On a site without power or sewer we bring generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders, and schedule the pump-outs.
Herring Bay
The first Russian name for the site meant Herring Bay, after a large herring population that fell sharply after overfishing early in the twentieth century. Industries here have risen and fallen with the water. Short seasonal projects suit rented units that come out again when the work ends.
A Town Moved Uphill
After the earthquake the town rebuilt on fill from a demolished hill, because the old street along the pilings was underwater at high tide. We follow the same rule on every pad: confirm the water line, then place the trailer above it.
Scenario: A Dock Rebuild
Imagine a marine contractor with a 20-person crew rebuilding part of a small-boat dock over a summer. Ten bunk bed sleepers, two combination shower and restroom trailers, and a 24ft mobile kitchen on a pad above the tide line, served by weekly barge, would support the work. That is the combination trailer lease in Seldovia we can plan from your headcount.
