Remote Man Camp / Workforce Housing
Dufur has seen summer wildfires that forced evacuations, and its farms bring seasonal crews every harvest. Remote workforce housing leads our Dufur rentals for that reason.

In 2018, parts of Dufur were evacuated because of three wildfires, the Long Hollow, Substation, and South Valley fires, which burned more than 100,000 acres combined. Firefighters, utility crews, and displaced residents all needed housing, showers, and meals on short notice, and a town of 632 people has little spare lodging.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Dufur provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major Construction: Farm, Road, and Utility Projects
Dufur was incorporated in 1893 and named for the Dufur brothers, who raised stock here from 1859. Today it is a farming community where wheat, tree fruit, and grapes are important crops, and road, utility, and farm-infrastructure work brings crews to the area. They use sleepers, combo trailers, and laundry.

Renovation: Schools, Halls, and Main Street
Dufur's school, community halls, and Main Street buildings renovate in stages. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Dufur with a dish trailer keeps a school or community kitchen running during a remodel.
Emergency Equipment Access in Dufur
Dufur sits south of The Dalles in the dry foothills east of Mount Hood, reached by rural highways. During the 2018 fires, evacuations and closures changed the road picture quickly, so we confirm conditions and alternates before dispatch. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
The Dufur Threshing Bee
Each August the city holds its Threshing Bee, a harvest festival with horse-drawn harvesting equipment and a steam tractor. Crowds that size need restroom trailers, showers for volunteers and campers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Dufur for food vendors.
Dufur Weather and Site Planning
Dufur has hot, dry summers, cold winters, and wind. Pads should be graded gravel with anchoring and defensible space around fuel for grass fires. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Dufur setup for crews can share water and wastewater.
Rental Options and Prices for Dufur
Our 20ft accommodation units start at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days and $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for rentals of three months or more. Water tank trailers, greywater bladders, and generators serve sites with no utilities.
What Dufur Projects Need, Season by Season
Summer is fire season and harvest. August is the Threshing Bee. Fall is cleanup. Winter brings storm crews.

Planning a Trailer Site in Dufur
Send us the address, dates, headcount, and a photo of the pad. We plan power, water, wastewater, and meals as one package and confirm trucks can reach the site. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Dufur
Rentals in Dufur run weekly or monthly, and the rate falls as the term lengthens. A 20ft accommodation unit that starts at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for three months or more, so a long Wasco County job costs less per unit than a short one. We quote delivery and setup separately, list every unit and its utility needs in writing, and extend a lease by the week or month if your schedule changes. Call the 24/7 line with your dates and headcount and we will price the term that fits.
Permits and Site Considerations in Dufur
Temporary trailers in Dufur may need review by the city or Wasco County. Event units are arranged through the event permits, and food-service units fall under county environmental health. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Dufur
Deliveries in Dufur are planned around the rural highways south of The Dalles and the farm roads around Dufur. Most units are set within about an hour of placement, kitchens and dishwashing trailers take about five hours, stairs take 5 to 15 minutes, and ramps four to six hours. For Wasco County jobs we send one schedule for delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup so your crew or event team knows what happens when. A note that matters here: fire evacuations and closures can change the route overnight, so we confirm conditions before dispatch.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Dufur
Every unit has utility needs, and the quote lists them: shower containers list 120V/240V service at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. If a Dufur site has no hookups, we supply generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders with scheduled pump-outs, sized to the connected units. Tell us what is on site and we will match the plan to it.
Scenario: A Wildfire Basecamp in Wheat Country
Imagine a fire crew of eighty needing a camp for two weeks on a farm field outside town. Sleeper trailers, shower containers, a laundry trailer, a kitchen with refrigeration, and a water tank and generator on a graded pad would keep the crew rested and fed. That is the remote workforce housing lease in Dufur we can plan from your headcount.
