Refrigeration Trailers
Gilmer County is known as the Apple Capital of Georgia, and orchards, packers, and festival vendors all depend on cold storage. Refrigerated trailers lead our Ellijay rentals.

Ellijay sits in mountain country where winter snow is common but generally light, though the 1993 Storm of the Century dropped 17 inches of snow here. When snow, flood, or an outage leaves a city of 1,862 without power, food and medicine need cold storage. A refrigerated trailer holds them, and restrooms and sleepers support crews.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Ellijay provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: New Ground and a Timber Boom
The name Ellijay comes from the Cherokee word Elatseyi, meaning new ground, and some sources say green place. Gilmer County was organized in 1832 and Ellijay became the county seat in 1834. The town stayed isolated until the Marietta and Northern Georgia Railroad, later part of the Louisville and Nashville, arrived in 1884 and set off a boom in the timber industry. Timber, road, and utility contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry near the work.

Renovation: Riverfront Buildings and a Busy Parkway
Buildings near the rivers and along the commercial strip are repaired in stages as visitors and residents increase. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Ellijay keeps a site serving meals during work.
Emergency Equipment Access in Ellijay
The Zell Miller Mountain Parkway, Georgia 515, was completed in 1991 and is the main road improvement serving the area. The city of East Ellijay borders it on the east and south, and winter weather shapes delivery planning. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
Apple Season and River Weekends
October brings the Georgia Apple Festival, and tourists come for the mountains and whitewater kayaking. Hosts rent restroom trailers, showers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Ellijay.
Ellijay Weather and Site Planning
Ellijay has cool winters and warm summers that top out in the mid 80s. Summer sites need less cooling than the coast, but cold storage still matters. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Ellijay setup for crews can share water and wastewater.
Rental Options and Prices for Ellijay
A 12ft refrigerated trailer is an estimated $1,295 to $1,495 for 1 to 6 days and a 20ft unit an estimated $1,495 to $1,595, with longer rentals quoted by the week or month. A 20ft refrigerated container is an estimated $2,495 and a 40ft container $3,495. Our 20ft refrigerated trailers list 220V single-phase service at 40 to 60 amps, which we confirm before delivery. Add sleepers, showers, and laundry for Ellijay crews.
What Ellijay Projects Need, Season by Season
Spring is wet and green. Summer is warm and mild by southern standards. Fall is apple and festival season. Winter is cool with light snow.

Planning a Trailer Site in Ellijay
Send us the address, dates, product volume and dates, and a photo of the pad. For a refrigerated trailer we confirm the setpoint, power, and a level pad before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Georgia on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Ellijay
Most Ellijay customers start with a week or a month and extend as the work runs. Longer terms are cheaper per unit: a 20ft accommodation unit is an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days and an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 for three months or more. If your Gilmer County project slips, tell us and we adjust the lease rather than pulling units. Delivery, setup, and pickup are quoted on their own line.
Permits and Site Considerations in Ellijay
Temporary trailers in Ellijay may need review by the city or Gilmer County. Floodplain land near the rivers restricts placement, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Ellijay
Our crew plans each Ellijay delivery around Georgia 515 and the mountain roads of Gilmer County. Plan on about an hour to set most units, about five hours for a kitchen or dish trailer, 5 to 15 minutes for stairs, and four to six hours for ramps. You get one schedule covering delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup in Gilmer County. Worth knowing: snow, mountain grades, and festival traffic can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Ellijay
Tell us what is on site in Ellijay and we match the plan to it. Shower containers need 120V/240V at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. Where there are no hookups, generator trailers, water tanks, and greywater bladders with scheduled pump-outs make the camp self-sufficient.
Where Two Rivers Make a Third
The Ellijay and Cartecay rivers meet at the city to form the Coosawattee River, which flows west into the Coosa and Alabama watershed. River junctions flood, so we check flood lines and place units on high ground before delivery.
A Presidential Cabin
Former President Jimmy Carter owned a pine-cabin second home in Ellijay, one of several details that show how the area draws visitors seeking mountain quiet. Visitor traffic means events and tourism work, and both need clean restrooms and cold storage on busy weekends.
Scenario: An Orchard Harvest Weekend
Imagine a packing house and roadside market moving a heavy apple harvest during the festival weekend. Two 20ft refrigerated trailers set at 34 degrees behind the packing shed, a restroom trailer for visitors, and a hand-wash station, serviced twice daily, would keep the harvest cold. That is the refrigerated trailer lease in Ellijay we can plan from the grower.
