Sleeper / Bunk Bed Trailers
Metropolis sits on the Ohio River at the southern tip of Illinois, where river, highway, and industrial crews need beds close to the work. Bunk bed sleepers lead our Metropolis rentals.

The city lies on the Ohio River in the Paducah area, and river flooding, severe storms, ice, and long power outages can disrupt a city of 5,969. Crews that respond need sleepers, showers, and restrooms set on high ground near the work.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Metropolis provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: Fort Massac and a Grand Name
A French expedition built Fort de L Ascension, later Fort Massac, in 1757 during the French and Indian War, and in 1794 President George Washington ordered it rebuilt on a strategic site high above the river. The 1811-12 New Madrid earthquakes severely damaged it, and the military abandoned it in 1814. Metropolis was founded in 1839, and in 1843 the Illinois Legislature formed Massac County. River, bridge, and plant contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry near the work.

Renovation: A Fort Site and a County Seat
Courthouse offices, downtown storefronts, and riverfront properties renovate in stages. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Metropolis keeps a site serving while its kitchen is rebuilt.
Emergency Equipment Access in Metropolis
Metropolis is on the Ohio River in the Paducah metropolitan area of southern Illinois, so crews often stage from both banks of the river. River stages and storms shape delivery planning. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
River Events and Fort Gatherings
The historic fort site and the riverfront host community events and visitor crowds through the warm months. Hosts rent restroom trailers, showers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Metropolis.
Metropolis Weather and Site Planning
Far southern Illinois has long, hot summers and cool winters. Summer sites need cooling and flood-prone ground needs care. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Metropolis setup for crews can share water and wastewater.
Rental Options and Prices for Metropolis
Our 20ft accommodation units start at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days and $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for rentals of three months or more. Shared bunk rooms suit labor crews, contractor layouts have fewer beds per room, and VIP units give supervisors a private room. A 20ft shower container is an estimated $3,995 and a 20ft laundry container an estimated $3,995, so a Metropolis camp can be built one unit at a time.
What Metropolis Projects Need, Season by Season
Spring is the flood and storm season on the river. Summer is hot and busy. Fall is mild and good for construction. Winter is cool with occasional ice.
Who Rents Trailers in Metropolis
River and plant contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry. Event hosts rent restrooms and refrigeration. Agencies rent basecamps. Schools rent kitchens during work.
Planning a Trailer Site in Metropolis
Send us the address, dates, crew size, and a photo of the pad. For a riverside site we confirm placement above the high-water line and a level pad before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Illinois on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Metropolis
Short jobs and seasonal camps are priced differently from year-long leases. For Metropolis, a 20ft accommodation unit is an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days, and the same unit is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 for three months or more. Because the quote lists each unit separately, you can add a shower, laundry, or kitchen later without re-pricing the rest of the camp.
Permits and Site Considerations in Metropolis
Temporary trailers in Metropolis may need review by the city or Massac County. Riverfront ground may be in a flood zone, which can restrict placement, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Metropolis
Before a truck leaves for Metropolis, we walk through the roads of Massac County. Setup is about an hour for most units, about five hours for kitchens and dishwashing trailers, a few minutes for stairs, and four to six hours for ramps. Everything on a Massac County job, from delivery to pickup, goes on a single schedule. One local detail: river stages and storms can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Metropolis
Utilities decide what can go where in Metropolis. Our shower containers list 120V/240V at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. On a site without power or sewer we bring generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders, and schedule the pump-outs.
A Name Chosen to Impress
The two founders envisioned a transport hub on the Ohio River and picked a name to match, Metropolis. The river did make the place a crossing point, and crews still move through it. A camp near the work saves them the drive across the water.
Earthquakes at the Fort
Fort Massac was severely damaged by the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-12, and the army chose not to rebuild. It is a reminder that this corner of Illinois sits near a famous fault zone. We plan sleepers on level, well-drained pads and confirm anchoring and utilities before delivery.
Scenario: A River Bridge Repair Crew
Imagine a contractor with a 26-person crew on a multi-week repair project near the Ohio River crossing. Thirteen bunk bed sleepers with cooling, two combination shower and restroom trailers, and a laundry trailer on a pad above the flood line, served weekly, would give the crew a base. That is the bunk bed sleeper lease in Metropolis we can plan from your headcount.
