Remote Man Camp / Workforce Housing
The Klamath Basin is vast, and its big jobs, from wildfire response to river restoration and energy projects, happen far from any lodging. Klamath Falls is the only city of size for hours. A complete remote basecamp keeps crews housed, fed, and clean close to the work.

On July 6, 2021, lightning started the Bootleg Fire northeast of Klamath Falls. It burned about 413,000 acres, the third-largest fire in Oregon history, and destroyed 161 homes and 247 outbuildings by the official count, with Sycan Estates among the hardest-hit areas. Crews from across the country worked the fire for weeks in remote country with few services.
Klamath Falls also knows earthquakes. On September 20, 1993, a pair of magnitude 5.9 and 6.0 quakes struck, killing two people, damaging about 1,000 buildings, and causing roughly $7.5 to $10 million in damage; the Klamath County Courthouse was so badly damaged it was torn down in 1996 and replaced in 1999. Disasters like these need 24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Klamath Falls: sleepers, showers, laundry, and a kitchen.
Major Construction: Klamath River Dam Removal
Downstream of Klamath Falls, crews removed four dams on the Klamath River, J.C. Boyle, Copco 1 and 2, and Iron Gate, in what's been called the largest dam-removal project in history. The roughly $450 million project, finished in 2024, reopened about 420 miles of river and tributaries in Oregon and California, and chinook salmon have since spawned above the former Iron Gate site for the first time in more than 60 years. Revegetation and restoration continue. Work like this keeps crews in remote canyons for years; bunk bed sleeper trailers for rent in Klamath Falls, combo trailers, and laundry support them.

Emergency Equipment Access in Klamath Falls
US-97 runs north from Klamath Falls toward Chiloquin and Bend and south into California; a man died in the 1993 earthquakes when a rockfall hit his car on US-97. OR 140 runs west over the Cascades toward Medford and east toward Lakeview, and OR 66 connects west to Ashland. Distances are long, so staging in Klamath Falls is the practical choice for most basin projects. These are public routes; our deliveries are planned with current conditions.
Klamath Basin Community and Events
Klamath Falls's fairgrounds, Upper Klamath Lake, and the basin's wildlife refuges draw visitors and events year-round. Organizers use restroom trailers, refrigerated trailers for rent in Klamath Falls, and mobile kitchens.
Klamath Falls Weather and Camp Planning
Klamath Falls sits at about 4,100 feet, with hot, dry summers and cold, snowy winters, very different from the valleys west of the Cascades. Winter camps need heat, insulated and heat-taped water lines, generator backup, and plowed access; summer camps need defensible space, AC, and extra laundry for smoke. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Klamath Falls layout built for both extremes keeps crews working.

Healthcare and county facilities rent kitchens during remodels. Agricultural operators rent refrigeration and hygiene units.
Planning a Camp Site in Klamath Falls
We look for level, graveled lots near US-97 or OR 140 with truck turnaround and room for water tanks and bladders. Winter sites need plowing and freeze protection; summer sites need defensible space. Remote sites may be hours from town, so we plan fuel, water, and pump-out schedules carefully. Send us the location, headcount, and dates for a layout and written quote.
Permits and Site Considerations
Temporary trailers inside Klamath Falls may need city review; rural land follows Klamath County rules, and federal and tribal lands follow their own requirements. Food-service units fall under county environmental health. During declared emergencies, agencies coordinate approvals directly.
Scenario: A Basin Fire Camp at Klamath Falls
Imagine a July lightning fire northeast of Klamath Falls with 300 personnel assigned. A camp near US-97 with labor-shared sleepers, four shower containers, combos, two laundry trailers, and two 40ft bulk kitchens with dish and refrigeration support, on generators and water tanks, would keep crews supplied for weeks. That's the emergency remote man camp lease in Klamath Falls we can plan from a headcount.
What Klamath Basin Crews Need
Fire camps need sleepers, showers, laundry, and kitchens. Restoration crews on the river need long-term housing. Winter utility crews need heated units on generators.
Nearby Towns Where Our Trailers Work Best
