Shower Trailers
Machias is a college and county seat town on a tidal river, and campus and field crews often need hot water more than anything. Shower trailers lead our Machias rentals.
See shower trailers models & specs →Machias Emergencies on the Down East Coast
Machias lies where several rivers fall toward the sea, and coastal storms, river flooding, drought, and long outages can disrupt a county seat of 2,060 that is far from the main highway grid. Crews that respond need shower trailers, restrooms, and sleepers set close to the work.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Machias provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: The Lexington of the Seas
Richard Vines set up a trading post for the Plymouth Company in 1633 at what is now Machiasport, settlers from Scarborough arrived in 1763 in search of marsh hay, and a petition brought a grant in 1770. Morris O Brien and his sons built a double sawmill in 1765, and more mills rose on the East, West, and Middle rivers. In June 1775 the Battle of Machias, called the Lexington of the Seas, became the first naval battle of the American Revolution. Mill, campus, and utility contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry near the work.

Emergency Equipment Access in Machias
Machias Valley Airport is owned by the town, and the town sits at the center of Washington County. Coastal weather and distance shape delivery planning. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.

Planning a Trailer Site in Machias
Send us the address, dates, crew size, and a photo of the pad. For a shower trailer we confirm water, a drain or holding plan, and power before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Maine on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Machias
Short jobs and seasonal camps are priced differently from year-long leases. For Machias, a 20ft accommodation unit is an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days, and the same unit is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 for three months or more. Because the quote lists each unit separately, you can add a shower, laundry, or kitchen later without re-pricing the rest of the camp.
Permits and Site Considerations in Machias
Temporary trailers in Machias may need review by the town or Washington County. River edges carry setbacks, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Machias
Before a truck leaves for Machias, we walk through the roads of Washington County. Setup is about an hour for most units, about five hours for kitchens and dishwashing trailers, a few minutes for stairs, and four to six hours for ramps. Everything on a Washington County job, from delivery to pickup, goes on a single schedule. One local detail: coastal weather and distance can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Machias
Utilities decide what can go where in Machias. Our shower containers list 120V/240V at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. On a site without power or sewer we bring generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders, and schedule the pump-outs.
A Drought That Led to a Town
In 1762, hay was scarce because of drought, so men from Scarborough went looking for grass and found a great quantity in the marshes. Settlement followed the hay. Our own planning starts with the ground in the same way, with a check of grade and drainage before a unit is placed.
Bad Little Falls
The name comes from the falls on the Machias River, where early settlers set their mills. Water still sets the pace of life here, and we site units above the river edge and the tide line.
Scenario: A Campus Residence Hall Renovation
Imagine a contractor with a 20-person crew renovating a residence hall while the plumbing is offline. Three shower trailers with heated stalls, two restroom trailers, and a laundry trailer on a paved lot beside the building, serviced twice weekly, would keep the crew on site. That is the shower trailer lease in Machias we can plan from your headcount.
