Remote Man Camp / Workforce Housing
Newberry sits in forest country where wildfire crews, forestry work, and falls-area projects need a base. A remote workforce camp leads our Newberry rentals.

Heavy winter snow, summer lightning, and long outages can disrupt a village of 1,446, and two major wildfires, the Sleeper Lakes Fire in August 2007 and the Duck Lake Fire in May 2012, both caused by lightning, were coordinated from here. A remote workforce camp with sleepers, showers, and restrooms suits that kind of response.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Newberry provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: Founded in 1882
Newberry was founded in 1882, became the county seat when Luce County separated from Chippewa County in 1887, and finished its first courthouse in 1890. It was named for John Stoughton Newberry, a U.S. Representative and industrialist. Preservationists lost the 1970s fight over the Victorian courthouse but kept the elaborate sheriff house, which is now the Luce County Historical Museum. Forestry, highway, and utility contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry near the work.

Renovation: A Museum, Schools, and Village Buildings
The historical museum, the single main campus of Tahquamenon Area Schools, and older village buildings renovate in stages. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Newberry keeps a site serving during work.
Emergency Equipment Access in Newberry
Newberry covers 0.98 square mile in the eastern Upper Peninsula, and Paradise to the northeast is the other gateway to the Tahquamenon Falls area. Distances are long and snow shapes delivery planning. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
Moose Capital Gatherings and Falls Visitors
The state legislature designated Newberry the Moose Capital of Michigan, and falls visitors and community gatherings fill the calendar. Hosts rent restroom trailers, showers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Newberry.
Newberry Weather and Site Planning
Newberry has warm to hot summers and cold winters with large seasonal temperature differences. Winter sites need heat and frost-proof lines. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Newberry setup for crews can share water and wastewater.

Planning a Trailer Site in Newberry
Send us the address, dates, crew size, and a photo of the pad. For a camp we confirm electrical service, a level pad, and winter access before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Michigan on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Newberry
Rentals in Newberry run weekly or monthly, and the rate falls as the term lengthens. A 20ft accommodation unit that starts at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for three months or more, so a long Luce County job costs less per unit than a short one. We quote delivery and setup separately, list every unit and its utility needs in writing, and extend a lease by the week or month if your schedule changes.
Permits and Site Considerations in Newberry
Temporary trailers in Newberry may need review by the village or Luce County. State and national forest land involves the managing agency, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Newberry
Deliveries in Newberry are planned around the roads of Luce County. Most units are set within about an hour of placement, kitchens and dishwashing trailers take about five hours, stairs take 5 to 15 minutes, and ramps four to six hours. For Luce County jobs we send one schedule for delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup. A note that matters here: snow and fire conditions can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Newberry
Every unit has utility needs, and the quote lists them: shower containers list 120V/240V service at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. If a Newberry site has no hookups, we supply generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders with scheduled pump-outs, sized to the connected units.
Fires Coordinated from Town
The Sleeper Lakes Fire burned about 29 square miles just north of Newberry in 2007, and the Duck Lake Fire burned about 34 square miles near Tahquamenon Falls State Park in 2012. The village itself was not threatened, but firefighting was coordinated here. Staging crews need beds, showers, and meals nearby.
The Only Incorporated Place
Newberry is the only incorporated community in Luce County, so any project in the county draws on one village for services. That pressure on lodging is the reason a camp makes sense. Our quote lists the units, the pad, the dates, and the delivery.
Scenario: A Wildfire Staging Camp
Imagine an agency with a 45-person crew staging for a lightning-caused forest fire in the Newberry area. Twenty-two bunk bed sleepers with heat, four combination shower and restroom trailers, a laundry trailer, and a kitchen on a graveled pad outside the village, served daily, would give the crew a base. That is the remote workforce housing lease in Newberry we can plan from your headcount.
