Vergennes lies at Otter Creek Falls with ready access to the Lake Champlain waterway, and a Vermont storm, flood, or long outage can leave a city of 2,553 short of hot water for residents and crews. Responders need showers, restrooms, and sleepers set close to the work.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Vergennes provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: A City Chartered in 1788
Vergennes was settled in 1766 by Donald MacIntosh and established as a city in 1788, the only one in Vermont not first chartered as a town or independent village. It was formed from parts of New Haven, Panton, and Ferrisburgh at the Otter Creek Falls and named for Charles Gravier, comte de Vergennes. Thomas Macdonough built and armed the fleet that defeated the British on Lake Champlain in the War of 1812 here. Waterfront, mill, and utility contractors rent showers, sleepers, and laundry near the work.

Renovation: Falls, Mills, and Downtown
The Monkton Iron Company, at the time the largest iron works in the nation, made fittings for the fleet, and the falls powered mills and factories through the nineteenth century. Buildings from that industrial era renovate in stages, so a restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Vergennes keeps a site serving during work.
Emergency Equipment Access in Vergennes
Vergennes is bordered by Ferrisburgh, Panton, and Waltham in the northwest quadrant of Addison County. Small city streets and the falls shape delivery, so we plan routes and the final pad ahead of time. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
Waterfront Days and City Events
A small city with a falls and a lake connection hosts community days and summer events. Organizers rent restroom trailers, showers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Vergennes.
Vergennes Weather and Site Planning
Vergennes has cold Vermont winters and warm summers, so winter heat and summer shade both matter for outdoor sites. Falls and lake areas need flood-line checks. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Vergennes setup for crews can share water and wastewater.

A 20ft shower container with five shower heads, three sinks, and a water heater starts at an estimated $3,995 for 1 to 6 days, and it lists 120V/240V service at 200 amps. Planning a Trailer Site in Vergennes
Send us the address, dates, crew size, and a photo of the pad. For a shower trailer we confirm water, a drain or holding plan, power, and a level pad before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Vermont on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Vergennes
Rentals in Vergennes run weekly or monthly, and the rate falls as the term lengthens. A 20ft accommodation unit that starts at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for three months or more, so a long Addison County job costs less per unit than a short one. We quote delivery and setup separately, list every unit and its utility needs in writing, and extend a lease by the week or month if your schedule changes.
Permits and Site Considerations in Vergennes
Temporary trailers in Vergennes may need review by the city or Addison County. Falls and waterfront property involve the owner, flood zones restrict placement, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Vergennes
Deliveries in Vergennes are planned around the roads of Addison County. Most units are set within about an hour of placement, kitchens and dishwashing trailers take about five hours, stairs take 5 to 15 minutes, and ramps four to six hours. For Addison County jobs we send one schedule for delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup. A note that matters here: winter snow and spring high water can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Vergennes
Every unit has utility needs, and the quote lists them: shower containers list 120V/240V service at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. If a Vergennes site has no hookups, we supply generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders with scheduled pump-outs, sized to the connected units.
A City Built From Three Towns
Vergennes was put together from intersecting portions of New Haven, Panton, and Ferrisburgh, so the boundary line has more history than most. We confirm the city line against the parcel before we place a unit near an edge.
A Fleet Built in Months
USS Saratoga, USS Eagle, USS Ticonderoga, and USS Preble were built or refitted here to fight on Lake Champlain. A town that built a fleet fast knew how to house workers fast, and a camp of showers, sleepers, and a kitchen does the same job for a crew today.
Scenario: A Falls-Side Building Restoration
Imagine a masonry contractor with a 14-person crew restoring a mill building beside the falls. Two shower trailers, a combination restroom, and seven bunk bed sleepers on a pad above the high-water line, served twice weekly, would give the crew a base. That is the shower trailer lease in Vergennes we can plan from your headcount.
