Shower Trailers
Ely is the jump-off for canoe trips into the Boundary Waters, and outfitters, guides, and returning paddlers all want a hot shower. Shower trailers lead our Ely rentals.

Ely lies inside the Superior National Forest, and blowdowns, wildfire, blizzards, hard cold, and long outages can disrupt a city of 3,268 and cut off the wilderness entry points. Crews and visitors need showers, restrooms, and sleepers while repairs are made.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Ely provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: Gold Rush, Iron Ore, and the Chandler Mine
The Lake Vermilion gold rush of 1865 brought the first large numbers of pioneers, though hardly any gold was found, and the area proved to hold large deposits of iron ore. The Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway extended to Ely in 1888, and mining began with the Chandler Mine, with ore shipped to docks at Two Harbors and Duluth. Forest, utility, and highway contractors rent sleepers, combos, and laundry near the work.

Renovation: A Pioneer Hotel and Main Street
The original town site was 40 acres, and the Pioneer Hotel, built in 1887 at Sheridan Street and Fourth Avenue, is part of a main street of outfitters, clothing stores, and restaurants that renovates in stages. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Ely keeps a site serving during work.
Emergency Equipment Access in Ely
Minnesota Highway 1, Highway 169, and County Road 21 are Ely main routes. Winter weather and forest roads shape delivery planning, so we carry chains. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
Canoe Season and Wolf and Bear Centers
Ely is the entry point for campers and canoeists, and the International Wolf Center and the North American Bear Center are nearby. Outfitters and groups rent restroom trailers, showers, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Ely.
Ely Weather and Site Planning
Ely has short summers and long, cold winters. Winter sites need heat, tie-downs, and plowed access. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Ely setup for crews can share water and wastewater.
Rental Options and Prices for Ely
A 20ft shower container with five shower heads, three sinks, and a water heater starts at an estimated $3,995 for 1 to 6 days, and it lists 120V/240V service at 200 amps. Handwashing sink trailers start at an estimated $2,995. Add restroom trailers, laundry, and sleepers to complete a Ely camp.
What Ely Projects Need, Season by Season
Summer is canoe and construction season. Fall is hunting and color season. Winter brings deep cold and snow. Spring is thaw.
Who Rents Trailers in Ely
Outfitters and guide services rent showers, restrooms, and refrigeration. Forest and highway crews rent sleepers, combos, and laundry. Agencies rent basecamps.
Planning a Trailer Site in Ely
Send us the address, dates, crew or party size, and a photo of the pad. For a forest site we confirm road access and placement with the managing agency. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Minnesota on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Ely
Rentals in Ely run weekly or monthly, and the rate falls as the term lengthens. A 20ft accommodation unit that starts at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for three months or more, so a long St. Louis County job costs less per unit than a short one. We quote delivery and setup separately, list every unit and its utility needs in writing, and extend a lease by the week or month if your schedule changes.
Permits and Site Considerations in Ely
Temporary trailers in Ely may need review by the city or St. Louis County. National Forest and wilderness-edge sites involve the managing agency, and food-service units are reviewed by health officials. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Ely
Deliveries in Ely are planned around Highways 1 and 169. Most units are set within about an hour of placement, kitchens and dishwashing trailers take about five hours, stairs take 5 to 15 minutes, and ramps four to six hours. For St. Louis County jobs we send one schedule for delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup. A note that matters here: winter weather and forest roads can change timing, so we carry chains.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Ely
Every unit has utility needs, and the quote lists them: shower containers list 120V/240V service at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. If a Ely site has no hookups, we supply generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders with scheduled pump-outs, sized to the connected units.
A Gold Rush That Found Iron
Thousands of prospectors came to Lake Vermilion in 1865 and found hardly any gold, but the iron they found built a district. A rented camp suits that kind of country: when a new find or a new project opens, crews need beds, showers, and meals right away, and the camp can be removed when the work ends.
A Town That Moved West
Miners incorporated the town of Florence near Shagawa Lake, and after ore was found farther west the town relocated and was renamed Ely, since the name Florence was already used by another Minnesota village. Moving a town is the ultimate logistics job. We place camps where the work is and remove them when it ends.
Scenario: A Paddling Outfitter Season
Imagine an outfitter housing 30 guides, staff, and returning paddlers through a summer week. A shower trailer with several stalls, restroom trailers near the dock, and a refrigerated trailer for provisions, serviced daily, would support the base. That is the shower trailer lease in Ely we can plan from your headcount.
