Shower Trailers
Pomeroy grew up on river coal and deep-well salt, and the river valley still draws utility, bridge, and flood-recovery crews who finish dirty days far from a motel. Shower trailers lead our Pomeroy rentals here.

A river village of 1,573 can lose road access, power, and water service in a single bad week, and the crews that arrive to restore them need hot water more than anything else. A shower trailer gives a response team a place to clean up, while restrooms and sleepers keep the staging area working through long shifts.
24/7 Emergency Remote Man Camp Basecamp leasing in Pomeroy provides sleepers, showers, laundry, and restroom trailers on generator power.
Major History: Nyesville, Coal Barges, and Salt Wells
Samuel Ervin reached Kerrs Run in 1806, coal mining began in 1819, and in 1827 a town was laid out and named Nyesville. Samuel Wyllys Pomeroy sent his son-in-law Valentine B. Horton to develop the mines, and Horton built the first coal barges and in 1836 the first coal-fired boat, the Condor. When salt was found in deep wells near the river in 1848, local coal fueled the salt works, and by 1870 Pomeroy had about 5,000 people. Contractors working in the valley today rent sleepers, combination trailers, and laundry units close to the job.

Renovation: A Village Built for 5,000
Pomeroy was once a prosperous industrial town of about 5,000, and many of the commercial blocks, school buildings, and riverfront structures from that era are now being repaired in phases. A restroom trailer covers plumbing downtime for staff and visitors, and a mobile kitchen trailer for lease in Pomeroy keeps a kitchen serving while the permanent one is gutted.
Emergency Equipment Access in Pomeroy
Pomeroy lies on the Ohio River about 21 miles south of Athens, and a bridge to Mason, West Virginia, was built across the river in the war years. We confirm the river-side approach and the pad grade before the truck leaves. These are public routes; our deliveries are scheduled around current conditions.
Riverfront Gatherings in Meigs County
Small river villages host their biggest crowds on summer weekends, school football nights, and county gatherings, usually in a park or along a street with few facilities. Hosts rent shower trailers, restrooms, and refrigerated trailers for rent in Pomeroy.
Pomeroy Weather and Site Planning
Valley sites can be damp, muddy, and slow to dry. We ask for a graveled or paved pad and plan around the weather forecast. A Remote Workforce Housing Shower Laundry Bunkbed Sleeper trailer in Pomeroy setup for crews can share water and wastewater.
Rental Options and Prices for Pomeroy
A 20ft shower container with five shower heads, three sinks, and a water heater starts at an estimated $3,995 for 1 to 6 days, and it lists 120V/240V service at 200 amps. Handwashing sink trailers start at an estimated $2,995. Add restroom trailers, laundry, and sleepers to complete a Pomeroy camp.
What Pomeroy Projects Need, Season by Season
Spring is the season to watch river levels and soft ground. Summer brings long workdays and a need for cooling. Fall suits school and county events. Winter calls for heated units and protected plumbing.
Who Rents Trailers in Pomeroy
Utility and bridge crews rent showers, sleepers, and laundry. Event hosts rent restrooms and refrigeration. Agencies rent basecamps. Schools and restaurants rent kitchens during repairs.
Planning a Trailer Site in Pomeroy
Send us the address, dates, crew size and shower count, and a photo of the pad. For a shower trailer we confirm water supply, wastewater handling, and a level pad before delivery. Our Portland, Oregon hub delivers into Ohio on request, and delivery is listed separately on the written quote. A written quote lists each unit and the delivery and setup.
Short-Term and Long-Term Leasing in Pomeroy
Rentals in Pomeroy run weekly or monthly, and the rate falls as the term lengthens. A 20ft accommodation unit that starts at an estimated $2,995 for 1 to 6 days is an estimated $2,195 to $2,495 per unit for three months or more, so a long Meigs County job costs less per unit than a short one. We quote delivery and setup separately, list every unit and its utility needs in writing, and extend a lease by the week or month if your schedule changes.
Permits and Site Considerations in Pomeroy
Temporary trailers in Pomeroy may need review by the village, the county, or the health district. A riverfront parcel can bring extra review, so we ask early about floodplain and utility rules. We help you identify what your site needs before delivery.
Delivery, Setup, and Pickup in Pomeroy
Deliveries in Pomeroy are planned around the river road into Pomeroy. Most units are set within about an hour of placement, kitchens and dishwashing trailers take about five hours, stairs take 5 to 15 minutes, and ramps four to six hours. For Meigs County jobs we send one schedule for delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup. A note that matters here: river-side access and soft ground can change timing, so we confirm conditions.
Power, Water, and Wastewater Planning in Pomeroy
Every unit has utility needs, and the quote lists them: shower containers list 120V/240V service at 200 amps, laundry trailers 240V single phase at 200 amps, kitchens 220V single phase at 200 to 220 amps, and refrigerated trailers 220V at 40 to 60 amps. If a Pomeroy site has no hookups, we supply generator trailers, water tank trailers, and greywater bladders with scheduled pump-outs, sized to the connected units.
Coal, Salt, and the Excelsior Works
Pomeroy grew rich on two things pulled from the ground: coal from 1819 and salt from deep wells after 1848. The Excelsior Salt Company was among many firms burning local coal to boil the brine, and it stayed in business until 1975. Industry on that scale needed laborers who arrived in large numbers, which is the same problem a modern project faces, and the answer is the same: beds, hot water, and meals on site.
A County Seat at the River Bend
The county court moved to Pomeroy from Chester in 1841, and the village was incorporated in the same decade. Settlers from Germany, Ireland, and Wales came to mine the coal, and river traffic was heavy by 1870. A county seat on a bend of the Ohio is a natural staging point, and a trailer camp near the courthouse, schools, or the bridge approach keeps a crew within minutes of the work.
Scenario: A River Bridge Crew
Imagine a contractor with a 24-person crew inspecting and repairing river infrastructure near Pomeroy over six weeks. Two shower trailers, eight bunk bed sleepers, a restroom trailer, and a laundry unit on a graveled pad, serviced on a schedule, would give the crew hot water at day end and a clean place to sleep. That is the shower trailer rental in Pomeroy we can plan from your headcount and dates.
